"Our Choice – Real Self-Governance" is the name of the project, which is being started by YSU "Intellect" since November 25. 2009.
The project is oriented to the five (Khulo, Shuakhevi, Keda, Khelvachauri and Kobuleti) Municipalities in order to conduct fair and transparent election, set principles of real Self-Governance and support democratic reforms in Municipalities.
Objectives of the project also are to: raise legal awareness and culture of target municipality population, support to elect motivated, high sense of accountability Sakrebulo members in Sakrebuloes, strengthen institutional and managerial capacities of Sakrebulos in target municipalities.
The project “Our Choice-Real Self-Governance†is financed by EU and will be implemented in five municipalities of Adjara during 14 months.
