Young Scientists Union “Intellect”

December 8-18.2009 in Poland by support of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland held following stage of the project "Konsultativa in Poland", which is implemented by financial mechanisms of European Space and financial mechanisms of Norway 2004-2009 NGO supporting frame. The project is implemented by active NGO Foundation for Economic Education REGNET and partner in Georgia-Center for Effective Governance System and Territorial Arrangement Reform ( www.cegstar.ge ).
Georgia was presented by 10 participants (one from per region): local self-governance bodies, local governors and NGO representatives. Region of Adjara was presented by cooperator of Young Scientists Union "Intellect" â€“ Maia Chkhaidze.
Project "Konsultativa" covered practical and study course, which main purpose was to set "Social Participation Part of Good Governance", study practical methods of consensus in tensed situation and use in social conflicts, conflicts of interestsâ€™ and other similar cases.
Georgian delegation visited 3 municipalities of Poland-Gostyn, Czarnkow and Poznan local self-governance bodies. Produced with legislation about self-governance, Structures of local-self governance office and budget. Georgian delegation also visited projects and investments implemented by self-governance bodies (Factors, Water Filtering Systems, Youth and sport complexes, municipal cemetery etc).
At the end of training host and guest gifted memorable presents to each other. Certificate award of training participants conducted in 28-29 December in Tbilisi.
