Young Scientists Union "Intellect" started a new project "Consolidation of the local self governance of Adjara region for the long term development" from February of a current year.
The ongoing project aims the following:
• Planning the strategic development of the aiming municipalities (Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, Shuakhevi, Khulo);
• Planning the activity of investment passports, marketing and information policies for the aiming municipalities;
• Setting and applying practically the standards of the municipality services;
• Consolidation of the potential departments of the aiming municipalities for social-economic development of the territories, public employment and elimination of poverty;
• Consolidation of the self governance potential in financial activities of the Municipality, as well as for supporting the fair, transparent and effective financial policy.
• Supporting the raising of public service standards;
The EU granted project will be under the process of implementation for 25 months by Young Scientists Union "Intellect" in 5 municipalities (Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, Shuakhevi, Khulo) of Adjara region.
