Under the ongoing project "Our Choice – real self governance", the educators, who have been chosen by the Young Scientists Union "Intellect" on the basis of the competition, work in the communities. They visit the local residents, inform them of the activities pursuit by the Union "Intellect", speak with them about the essence of the self governance, about the Georgian Self Governance, Georgian Election Law and the importance of participating in the elections.
The above mentioned project aims to inform 32 200 direct and 71 200 final beneficiaries. 93 educators in 5 Municipalities and 63 communities of Adjara work over it. 85% of beneficiaries are already informed. As states Besik Tsetskhladze, the Kobuleti Municipality Kakuti community educator - "People meet us doubtfully, thinking of our relationships with the government. Mostly they even don’t listen to us. Because of the great range of problems they take our topics secondary".
