Under the project "Consolidation of the local self governance of Adjara region for the long term development", the Young Scientists Union "Intellect" holds an essay competition on the topic: "Our Municipality in 2025" in the local schools, of five Adjarian regions (Khulo, Shuakhevi, Keda, Khelvachauri and Kobuleti regions) between the 11-12 grade pupils.
As a competition participants three schools from each municipality have been selected at random, they are: Daba Keda, Merisi and Zvare schools from the Keda Municipality; Kobuleti â„–2, Gvara and Daba Chakvi schools from the Kobulety Municipality; Daba Shuakhevi, Chvani and Tsinareti schools from the Shuakhevi Municipality; Daba Khelvachauri, Charnali and Sharabidzes schools from the Khelvachauri Municipality and Daba Khulo, Okruashvilis and Kvemo Vashlovani Schools.
Pupils have to express their ideas of the existing social-economic problems in their municipality, of the sphere development that should be focused, of the undertakings that should take place for the Municipality development. The pupils should express their hopes about the state of their municipality after 15 years and their future contributions for the development of the structure.
The application deadline is 30-th of May. The most interesting three essays will be published in the newspaper index of the Young Scientist Union "Intellect", as well as on the website of the Union. The authors of the succeeded essays will be awarded with the special diplomas and authors emoluments.
