The organized training by Young Scientists Union "Intellect" was held for the joint-working groups on April 13-15, 2011 in Bakuriani in the limits of the project "Enhancement of local self-government organs capabilities for sustainable development in Adjara region".
The main goal of the training was to give practical and theoretical information to the members of joint-working groups in order to enhance their involvement in the working process of the project with Young Scientists Union "Intellect".
The training was held by Mikheil Dzagania – expert-analyst of Social-Economic Research Institute of Caucasus and experts of Young Scientists Union "Intellect" Zaza Gorgadze, Bela Churchelauri, and Nona Khujadze for 18 representatives of five municipalities of Adjara.
The following issues were foreseen for the training "The Basic Aspects of Economic Development of Municipalities":
The basic principles of compiling strategic plans;
The principles for compiling investment passports of municipalities;
SWOT-analysis for strategic planning;
The principles for determining, working out and realizing the types of municipal services;
Territorial Marketing;
Sociology, research methods and analysis;
At the end of the training the training members were given certificates.
