On January 23-25, Young Scientists Union "Intellect" hosted none-governmental Organization Abkhazintercont and farmers from Racha. The meeting taking place in the limits of the project "Village Development in Racha-Lechkhumi" aimed sharing experience of farmers around Georgia.
Farmers from Racha visited some farms developing successfully in the limits of Agro-Tour. In Particular: They visited fishery farm "Akavreta" in Village Oktomberi, poultry farm "Diadema" in village Akhalsheni, factory of dairy products "Tetrobi" in Batumi and in Kobuleti beekeeping private household in village Kvirike. As one of the project organizers and Pressman of Abkhazintercont – Sergo Tsurtsumia declared visitors from Racha are very satisfied with the visit: "In Adjara we visited various farms which are quiet successful in their specific fields. In the limits of the mentioned project we have been in all parts of Georgia where we visited, fishery farm, poultry farm, farm of dairy products, farm of potatoes etc. Farmers are very happy with the visit and they try to use experience, methods and mechanisms gained during their visit."
The visitors expressed their satisfaction because of received impressions. The experience and knowledge shared by Adjarian Agro-manufacturers was interesting for the visitors from Racha. By the way the majority of visitors firstly visited Adjara and the tour was interesting for the visitors not only from the business aspect but cultural one as well.
The tour members expressed their wish to continue the project and organize similar broad-scale visits in nearest future for the similar aims.
