May 20-22. 2009 The second meeting of Assembly of European Regions' (AER) Youth Regional Network (YRN) held in Krzyżowa, Lower Silesia region (PL) concluded today for the more than 50 youngsters coming from 27 European regions and 18 European countries. Mikheil Ananidze (Deputy chairman of Young Scientists Union "Intellect") from Adjara and Nazi Berdzenishvili (representavive of Eco-Club Chokhatauri-Guria) participated from Georgia.
Meeting participants adopted organization structure and strategic program for 2009-2010 and elected first president, Also discus future plans and projects.
Youth Regional Network is consisted of 5 Young working commissions, which focus and implement their activity in various directions. Following commissions are:
Commission 1 - Sustainable Development;
Commission 2 - Professional Life and Youth Entrepreneurship;
Commission 3 - Culture and Education;
Commission 4 – Healthcare and Social Issues;
Commission 5 – Media and Communication.
All above mentioned Commissions have own purpose and determined concrete activity. Mikheil Ananidze will actively take part in the second commission, which main aim is popularization of Euroodyssey program in regions, working our projects for development youth professional and issues of their initiatives support.
Commission also participates in competition frame (MYFER – Most-Friendly European Region) in evaluation of application applied by member region of Europoean Assembly, where participates representative of "Intellect" as one of the member of plurar judge. Herewith commission plans to implement various projects in the frame "Youth in Action" - established by EU. There is going changing ideas and discusion concerning mentioned issue between members of commissions.
