September 29. 2009 the contract between Young Scientists Union "Intellect" and US Embassy was sighned on financing implementation of new project "New Agriculture Technologies in Adjara Highland".
Municipality of Keda is particulary distinguished from other municipalities of Adjara, which population traditionally oriented on vegetable thrift. Basically region of Adjara is provided by vegetables gathered in Keda. That’s why, presented project at this stage is impelemented only in Keda municipality.
In the project frame interested population of target municipalities should get theoretical knowledge and informational materials as in buiding of green house and Bio-gas installation as well in technology of vegetable growing uninterrupted during a whole year. There is planned to create 4 practically active green house thrift, there population aviable to introduce with technologies of vegetabe growing in green house. Also built 4 Bio-gas installation, by help of which population should get low-expenced, ecologically clean and effective Bio-gas technologies for heating green house and domestic usage, produce vegetable during whole year uninterruptedly. Setting of New technologies in vegetable growing will raise economical activeness and incomes of population, which promotes improvement of social-economical conditions in target municipalities of Highland of Adjara.
